Our President made a commitment at COP21 in France to cut carbon emission in Nigeria by 25% before the year 2020. This commitment was subsequently backed up with a signed MOU among member nations including Nigeria.
Therefore, with the population of Nigeria, the number of vehicles, the National Vehicular Emission Control Law and enforcement captured in the National Gazette of May 27 , 2011 and the endorsed commitment of the President, businesses associated with the reduction of Carbon Emission in Nigeria will surely thrive.

Nigeria is the most populous black nation in the world, blessed with abundant natural resources one of which is petroleum from where fossil fuel is derived.

Larger percentages of this population are active and mobile working people that are daily moved from place to place through a massive road transportation system. Majority of these vehicles on our roads are old and fairly used vehicles operating with fossil fuels.

 The vehicles because of the old engines emit poisonous fumes from its exhaust system which pollute the air environment. This is known as the Vehicular Emissions from petrol and diesel engines.

In order to rid the air environment of dangerous gaseous fumes and reduce the Vehicular Emissions, the Federal Government of Nigeria on 17 May, 2011
published a gazette making it mandatory by law for all vehicles in Nigeria to undergo Vehicular Emission Test.
The law mandates the owners of the vehicles that fail the test to stop the vehicular emission of their vehicle within 90 days or be off the road until the vehicle is fixed to stop emitting poisonous gasses.

Thirty Six (36) States in the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Record shows that over Twelve Million (12,000,000) vehicles plying in Nigeria road. It is estimated that the Emission Control Programme nationwide will take care of vehicles that will undergo compulsory Emission testing and device installation on vehicles that fail the test.

Man they say can survive without food and water for more than a month, but cannot survive without air for more than five minutes. This underscores the importance of air to human beings and the need to make the air environment safe and sustainable for human lives. 

On the 25 August 2015, manufacturer of KHAOS Emission Device  from Philippines demonstrated the efficacy of their KHAOS Emission Device and Emission Control Mechanism ..
